At Gazeley Stud we understand that each horse is unique and that is why each individual will have its own tailor made programme, so that it arrives at the sales in the best condition possible. A balance of exercise and correct feeding is vital. We work closely with our farrier and supporting professionals to achieve the optimum results.
Owners are regularly kept up to date with the progress of their horses, throughout the preparation and sales consignment.
We offer a high class preparation of yearlings, foals, mares and horses in and out of training.
Foals will have a 5-6 week preparation, where they will be bitted, hand-walked and taught to stand correctly.
Yearlings undertake a more intense regime over an 8 – 10 week period, which also includes hand-walking and practice parading, as well as being rugged, lunged, and exercised on the horse walker.
We will be present at the sales in 2015, including Tattersalls, Arqana and DBS.
